Our guests are a Boulder psychotherapist (Dr. Elizabeth Bethea) who specializes in this area and a mom (Michelle Benzor-Marquez) of a 15-year old girl who feels trapped in a boy's body. Fawn Oates leads the discussion, with Part Two coming up next month.
Miss Eden Lane takes us to the 'burbs to visit Ballet Nouveau Colorado, a ballet troupe that deserves some serious attention. BNC Executive Director Lissy Garrison and Artistic Director Garrett Ammon are in the studio to talk about the troupe, some recent productions, and the on-going "21st Century Choreography Competition" -- along with video of three of the contestants.Rick Miller is on hand to give us the news of the local and world-wide community. Oklahoma Representative Sally Kern defends her homophobic remarks, the US pledges more support to the fight against AIDS, a gay Iranian man gets another chance at saving his life, and the GLAAD Awards honor some special people and organizations.
