Coming Up in April on Colorado OutSpoken

The April edition of Colorado OutSpoken will air on Sunday, April 27 at 10:00 PM on KBDI Channel 12.

In this show, we have Part 2 of our fascinating discussion about transgender youth coming out. Michelle Benzor-Marquez, the mother of a 15-year old male-to-female transgender child, and Dr. Elizabeth Bethea, a Boulder psychologist specializing in trans issues, are our guests. Fawn Oates leads the discussion.

The 7th Annual "Bear to Make a Difference" gala dinner and celebrity Teddy Bear auction, which is hosted by The Matthew Shepard Foundation, was just held in Denver. Our crews were there for the main event -- and also for "Comedy Night", a pre-party held at Hamburger Mary's. Eden Lane attended the party, and talked with comedian and television star Alec Mapa.

Tom Biddle sits in this month for Rick Miller to bring us the news. We have stories on potential trouble for the federal Employment Non-Discrimination Act and for a federal hate crimes bill, how equal marriage affects the bottom-line of many businesses, the Pentagon's efforts to rewrite history in the case of a fallen US gay soldier, and much more.

And, of course, Professor Fawn is back with great advice on sex and relationships. This month, Professor Fawn answers questions about jumping back into the dating game too soon, exceptionally large sex organs, and transgender people letting it all hang out.

There's also a great movie -- the second production of the guy who brought us "Super Size Me". This one is called "Where in the World is Osama bin Laden". We have ten pairs of tickets to give away!

It's all brought to you by your host, Stephen Montez. You don't want to miss all this great stuff, do you?? Of course not! See you on Sunday!
